ANA AGUIAR

Assistant Professor at the University of Porto (UP) and senior researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT)

Her research focuses on wireless and mobile systems, concretely building useful technology for impactful applications. She is the director of IT Porto, where she coordinates the Network and Information Processing Group. 

She will talk about the challenges of doing data science for the real world, while showing results from 9 years of building and using a mobile crowdsensing system SenseMyCity (https://sensemycity.up.pt)
